A little guidance. A clearer next step.

How does Inspectly work?

Whether you’re a first-time buyer or an experienced expert, here’s what to expect from posting an ad through to arranging an inspection.

An everyday example

Naledi has found a car she loves. But is it a good buy?

She’s buying a used car and isn’t sure how to assess the engine, accident damage or service history. She doesn’t need to become a mechanic. She can ask for an independent pair of expert eyes.

  1. 1. Say what she needs. Naledi creates a seeker profile and posts an ad: “Please inspect this used car before I buy and explain any concerns.” She adds the area, budget and preferred date, chooses In person and says she wants to attend.
  2. 2. Compare the people who respond. She reviews experts’ experience, quotes, availability and what each inspection covers. She chooses a suitable expert rather than relying only on the lowest price.
  3. 3. Agree the inspection. In their private conversation, they confirm the checks, full price, findings she’ll receive, payment terms and a safe meeting. She arranges the seller’s permission and chooses when to share contact details.
  4. 4. Make her own informed decision. The expert explains the findings and any checks they couldn’t complete. Naledi can ask the seller better questions, negotiate, seek further checks or walk away. The decision remains hers.

Illustrative example, not a customer testimonial or a promised outcome. Expert availability and findings will vary.
